Buttercup Barn is part of Tinkerley Barns which are set in a beautiful location close to the owner’s farmhouse, and are built in traditional stone and date back over 300 years.

The approach is through the farm’s 20 acres of grassland with beautiful views across the Ecclesbourne Valley and Idridgehay Church.

The gardens, which have been recently landscaped, contain a large duckpond. With this peaceful location, tucked into the hillside, the barns are a real summer sun trap.

They have close access to the market towns of Ashbourne and Wirksworth as featured in the TV series Peak Practice. Matlock and Alton Towers with their many leisure facilities and tourist attractions are close by as are Dovedale and Bakewell, which is the capital of the Peak District.

Kirk Ireton itself has a maze of footpaths and its local pub, the Barley Mow, dates back to 1688.

Carsington Water is nearby and offers, sailing, windsurfing, trout fishing and a wide variety of wildlife.

It also has walking, cycling and horse riding routes around its twelve mile circumference.
