Located in the rural hamlet of Highcliffe, and adjacent to Highcliffe Hall, the cottage is about 1,250 feet above sea level overlooking the village of Eyam with the popular attractions of Castleton, Edale, Bakewell and Chatsworth being close by.

There are some interesting walks from the doorstep and glorious views over the hills and dales, and there are 6 counties visible from just along the lane.

The Cottage, which was re-built in the late 1980’s, is thought to originally have been the housing for the Trap to the Hall, and now provides a cosy hideaway.
