Sweetpiece Cottage Rushup Edge, Nr. Castleton Sleeps in bedrooms

Situated in a peaceful and very picturesque rural valley this is the perfect ‘get away from it all’ cottage, in an elevated position and set in the grounds of the owners’ property.

This is an ideal base for exploring those country and hill walks from your own doorstep, with Kinder Scout, Mam Tor and the beginning of the Pennine Way at Edale all being a short distance away.

You enter through a stable door into the well fitted kitchen which has everything you could possibly require.

The bathroom on the ground floor has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. On the same floor is the cosy dining room, from which the staircase leads to the first floor.

Off the stairs is the open plan galleried bedroom, with a double bed.

The first floor sitting room has a welcoming gas fire inset in a tiled surround and a sofa which converts to another bed if separate beds are required.

There are extensive views of the valley and surrounding farmland from the cottage. Visitors are welcome to share the gardens and even try their hand at the garden chess set.

The property is not suitable for children.
