Located towards the edge of Castleton this cottage, dating back over 100 years, nestles in a quiet corner, close to the main entrance to Peak Cavern and beneath the imposing Peveril Castle. This is an ideal base for visitors to enjoy this part of the High Peak, with Edale and the beginning of the Pennine Way being only a short distance away, at the same time Castleton having some excellent local facilities. You enter the cottage into the welcoming open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area, with exposed beams and a feature gritstone wall, with an inset gas coal effect log burning stove giving the room plenty of character. |

| The kitchen has all the essential equipment you will require for your stay. The stairs, which are narrow, lead to the good sized bedroom with a double bed, adjoining is the bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet, both rooms having views accross Castleton. |
