Ostlers End Hartington Sleeps in bedrooms

You approach the two Dove Barns, Ostlers End and Dovedale, along a private track which takes you across the River Dove, through some fields, into the private cobbled courtyard, where you will reach the barn set back from the lawned gardens.

The barns, and their location, enjoy some outstanding scenery across the Dove Valley, with views down to Hartington.

This is an ideal base from which to explore many of the attractions of the Peak National Park.

It is possible for 12 people to dine together in Ostlers End.

A short walk from the cobbled parking area, will take you up the path, across the lawned garden into the property and the very welcoming lounge.

The lounge is spacious, and has a character pitch pine beamed ceiling, maple wood floors, occasional rugs and a welcoming log burning stove inset in the fireplace.

It is open to the kitchen/dining room, which has a further beamed ceiling, terra cotta floors and mature pine units. There are views from the kitchen, and a rear door takes you out to the rear garden area shared with the adjoining cottages.

The wooden stairs from the kitchen lead to the bedrooms, one with an imposing four poster bed, with an en-suite shower room, with shower, hand basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed and its own vanity unit with hand basin. The third bedroom has two single beds, and its own en-suite shower room with shower, hand basin and toilet.

The main bathroom, on this floor, has a corner bath with air jets and steam, toilet and hand basin.

This cottage is one of three cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 16 people, the others are: PK435 Dovedale (Sleeps 6), PK436 Bodgers End (Sleeps 4)
