The Grange at Royston Grange Roystone Grange, Nr Pikehall Sleeps in bedrooms

Set in its own peaceful valley in the Peak National Park, Royston Grange is 18th Century and Grade 11 listed, full of character and adjoins the owners home.

The valley is steeped in archaeological history with life having been enjoyed by Neolithic, Bronze Age and Roman farmers and more recently as a medieval monastic grange.

You enter the house, which has mullioned windows, from the lawned garden into a small entrance hall, to your right is the very spacious and fully equipped beamed kitchen/dining room with views across the valley.

To your left is the lounge of similar proportions and views, it has a welcoming log burning stove inset into an imposing fireplace.

On the ground floor is a separate cloakroom with hand basin and toilet, there is also a separate utility and boot room.

The central stairs lead to the first floor bedrooms, a feature of the house, with antique beds which give the rooms added charm and character. The main bedroom to your left, being very spacious with a super king size bed (6’) and occasional seating, it also has its own en suite bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Also on the same floor is the second bedroom with a further king size (5’) period antique double bed and en suite shower room, with hand basin and toilet.

On the second floor there is a further bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet, it is accessed by a set of winding stairs, be careful as you go up and down.

Also on this floor you will find the two remaining bedrooms, one of which contains a twin bed that can also be joined together to form a 6’ Super king size bed. The remaining bedroom has a further double bed and a single bed.

Use of gardens and grounds as advised by the owner.

When both properties are booked together a returnable bond of £100 will be taken for all bookings.
