Mayfly Cottage Bakewell Sleeps in bedrooms

Nestled in the heart of the Peak National Park, the market town of Bakewell is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions this beautiful area has to offer.

Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both a short drive away.

There is excellent walking along the Limestone Way Walk or one of the many other local trails.

Bakewell offers some excellent local shops and eating places.

This stone built house sits on the banks of the River Wye, where you can enjoy views across the river and beyond.

You enter the house from the rear onto the good-sized patio area, which surrounds the property to the front, side and rear.

The rear door takes you to the small entrance hallway which leads through into the very well equipped kitchen / dining area, with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

This leads into the separate lounge, with gas coal effect fire inset in a marble surround. The lounge overlooks the River Wye noted for its unique strain of wild breeding rainbow trout.

Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom, with hand basin and toilet.

The stairs lead to the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and fitted furniture, to the front of the house, and the splendour of riverside views. The second bedroom, to the rear, has two single beds.

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Furnishings and fabrics have been carefully co-ordinated throughout this delightful property.

The patio area, which is fully gated, enjoys the sun to both the front and rear of Mayfly Cottage through most of the day.

The owners can assist with fishing if required on the River Wye.

Sorry not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.
