Chicken Coop Nr Bakewell Sleeps in bedrooms

Situated in truly rural surroundings, with some spectacular views from the location, this is an ideal base from which to visit the many attractions the area has to offer.

Easy access to the market town of Bakewell, the history of Buxton and the country houses of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all but a short drive.

Excellent walking exists from the location in addition to Dovedale, Lathkill Dale, Monsal Dale and Millers Dale all being nearby.

Taddington Barns (include Badgers Wood, Robins Nest, Chicken Coop and Swift's Retreat)have been sympathetically restored to fully reflect their character, with exposed beams, wooden floors, carefully co-ordinated fabrics and furnishings being used throughout.

It is possible for up to 12 people to dine together in either Badgers Wood or Robins Nest (If either booked with this property) as they are adjacent properties at the same location.

Use of grounds and facilities available as advised by the owners. The accommodation and private parking for the barns is accessed from a long sweeping drive.

Of similar character and style to the other two barns, this accommodation benefits from being mainly on one level.

You enter the accommodation into the kitchen dining area which is fully equipped. This is open plan to the lounge area which has been comfortably furnished.

The bedroom has a king size double bed.

The bathroom has a bath and shower, with hand basin and toilet.

Stairs lead to a gallery area, with a Futon sofa which is suitable as an occasional sleeping area, but not for children under 8 years of age.

This cottage is one of four cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 16 people, the others are: PK577 Badgers Wood (Sleeps 6), PK578 Robins Nest (Sleeps 4), PK646 Swift's Retreat (Sleeps 4)
