Pinfold Cottage Elton Sleeps in bedrooms

This detached stone built cottage is located towards the edge of the village, being close to many local attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the pretty market town of Bakewell.

The owners, to create a very welcoming and warm cottage atmosphere throughout, have tastefully and sympathetically restored the accommodation.

You enter the property into the very light and airy well equipped vaulted kitchen/dining area which has all the equipment you will require for your stay – it further benefits from taking in the late afternoon and early evening sun.

Off this room is a ground floor cloakroom with hand basin and toilet.

The kitchen leads through into the very good sized lounge with imposing gritstone fireplace, with its welcoming log burning stove, and windows to the front and rear of the property.

The original stone steps (be careful as you go up and down) from the lounge lead to the bedroom area, which has a king size bed, a vaulted ceiling and original king post truss, giving the room plenty of character and charm. The bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, with hand basin and toilet.

The bedroom window takes in the early morning sun and a rear glazed door takes from the bedroom out onto the veranda with garden furniture which is south facing and enjoys views across fields and open countryside.

There is an excellent cafe 100 yards away, Elton Cafe, that is open at weekends.
