Swallows End Pilhough, Nr Rowsley Sleeps in bedrooms

This charming cottage dates back some 400 years has been renovated in recent years to a high standard being located in the grounds of the owners property.

Pilhough is a rural hamlet close to Rowsley where the Wye and Derwent rivers converge at the gateway into the parkland of nearby Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall also being close by.

You enter the cottage into the lounge with its beamed ceiling and welcoming coal fire adding to the charm and character of the property.

Off the lounge is the dining/kitchen with a further beamed ceiling, with all the essential equipment you will need for your stay.

Also on the ground floor is the bathroom, with bath, toilet and hand basin.

From the lounge the original stairs lead to the first floor (please be careful as you go up and down), the main bedroom has a double bed and hand basin, the second bedroom having a single bed. There is also a toilet on this floor.

The cottage enjoys a garden and patio area to the front, along with the early morning sun, at the same time taking in the splendid views over the surrounding countryside.
