| You enter the south facing stone cottage, which dates back some 150 years, and at one time a village store, into the very welcoming and good sized beamed lounge with a gas log burning stove, flag stone floor, with rugs and carefully co-ordinated furnishings adding to its character. A door leads through to the rear and the beamed kitchen / dining room which is fully equipped with all the essential equipment you will require for your stay. The original stairs from the kitchen (please be careful as you go up and down) lead to the two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double brass bed and its own vanity sink, enjoys the early morning sun. The second bedroom, in similar style, has two single brass beds is south facing and enjoys rooftop views. The bathroom is a good size and has a roll top bath on ball and claw feet, separate large shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. There is a small and private enclosed gravelled patio area to the front of the cottage. |
