Pilsbury Grange Pilsbury Sleeps in bedrooms

The current owners have undertaken a full programme of renovation throughout to this very imposing country house.

This Grade II listed detached house, on three floors, dates over 300 years and, until recently, used to be part of the Chatsworth Estate.

The character of the accommodation has been retained throughout, with stone flagged and wooden floors, open fires, exposed beams, and has been carefully co-ordinated with rugs and fabrics to reflect the accommodations true character.

You enter the house into the main and spacious hall, to your right is the dining room with seating for 8, it has a log burning stove and views across the gardens and beyond to Dovedale.

A door leads from here through to the traditional and spacious farmhouse kitchen with seating for 12 at the dining table.

To the rear is a further room, formerly the dairy and now the utility room. Also on the ground floor is the sitting room (seating for 7 only) with open coal fire, which takes in similar views to the dining room.

There are two sets of stairs, leading to the first floor bedrooms. The imposing main flight takes you to the gallery landing being suitable as an occasional sitting area.

Off the landing are the four main bedrooms, three with doubles and one with twin beds, with the benefit of wonderful views down the valley at the front and rural views to the rear.

There is a bathroom on this floor with bath, hand basin and toilet. There is also a shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

A further flight of stairs takes you to the second floor and the remaining two bedrooms, each with two single beds.

Also on this floor is the third bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet.

There is use of gardens to the front of the house.
