This character cottage is located in the heart of this popular Peak District village, enjoying good access to some excellent local facilities.

There are also many attractions in the immediate area, walks by the River Derwent, the mines at Castleton and of course some excellent walking in Edale at the beginning of the Pennine Way.

You enter the fully restored south facing cottage, which is set back off the main village road, at the rear, with open views across surrounding gardens and beyond to woodlands.

The rear door takes you into the compact and well equipped kitchen, with wooden units, tiled floor and all the essential equipment you will require for your stay.

The kitchen opens through to the lounge with its welcoming gas coal effect log burning stove inset in a stone fireplace, oak beams adding to its charm and character.

Double doors from the lounge open onto the private patio garden area which enjoys the sun throughout most of the day.

Stairs from the lounge lead to the bedroom, which has a double bed and further beams adding to its welcoming charm.
