Applegarth Hurdlow Grange Sleeps in bedrooms

Hurdlow Grange is over 300 years old and is located on the historic site of Hurdlow Village known to pre-date 1244.

The main farmhouse being the focal point of the locality, the barns were originally working buildings now converted into contempory high quality and spacious holiday accommodation.

Delightfully located at the start of the Tissington Trail within an easy drive of Bakewell and Buxton. It offer easy access to the many attractions the area has to offer in both the Dark and White Peak.

The accommodation oozes character, with original features preserved where possible and fabric and furnishings carefully coordinated throughout.

All located around a central courtyard, 5 acres of gardens and grounds surround the property with some excellent walking in nearby Dovedale and the Manifold Valleys.

The properties can be let individually, as a whole or in any combination for different sized groups.

They are a perfect destination for large parties as Cruck’d Barn and Bats Belfry have very spacious open plan dining/living areas that everyone can dine and socialise in.

This is ideal accommodation for groups to meet comfortably and get together for those special occasions and it is possible for 30+ people to dine together.

You enter the accommodation into the good sized entrance hall and to your right leads through into the open plan kitchen dining and lounge area, with granite worktops, oak flooring, exposed stone wall adding to its character, and the full height glazed windows taking in views of the central courtyard.

Off the hall is the ground floor bedroom, with two single beds (these can be linked together on request) and adjoining walk in shower room (being suitable for anyone requiring ground floor accommodation).

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with cottage style sloping ceilings along with a small en suite shower room with hand basin and toilet.

The large bedroom is very spacious and accommodates two single beds, which can be linked together on request, a fold down sofa bed, and an ensuite bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin and toilet.

There is a sitting out area to the front (for the morning sun) and back (for the afternoon and evening sun) and general use of grounds surrounding the properties location.
