Tick Tock Cottage Baslow Sleeps in bedrooms

Located on a quiet edge of the village, this detached cottage has recently been completely renovated to provide high quality, good sized accommodation in a contemporary style.

In an elevated position, in the owner’s grounds, the cottage commands open views of the surrounding countryside.

Baslow benefits from some excellent local shops and various eating places to suit all tastes.

Good walks exist into the parklands of Chatsworth House, or try the gritstone edge and heather moorlands above the village.

Entering the spacious and open plan accommodation, with solid oak flooring throughout the ground floor, is a sitting area with comfortable leather settees.

There is a dining area and an occasional breakfast bar which overlooks the patio.

To the rear is the fully equipped kitchen in stainless steel with solid oak worktops.

Also on the ground floor is the separate utility room with toilet and hand basin. A further cloakroom provides additional storage.

Stairs lead to the two bedrooms, both with high sloping ceilings which add to their character.

Both bedrooms are spacious, the main bedroom with a double bed and beautiful views across Baslow and the countryside beyond.

The second twin bedded room enjoys views over the garden, fields and nearby woodland.

The marble tiled bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

Outside the cottage there is a large stone flagged patio, with garden furniture, which enjoys the sun throughout the day. Stone steps take you to the garden and lawn
