CASTLETON COTTAGES

Castleton is a popular base in the High Peak from which to explore the many attractions this area of the Peak National Park has to offer.

There are the Caves, the Blue John Mines, the history of Peveril Castle or enjoy some excellent walking to enjoy within the immediate locality, or go to Edale, at the beginning of the Pennine Way.

There are also some excellent facilities within the village with good shops, pubs and various eating places all within a very short stroll. Newly restored and refurbished, Farran House and The Little Barn are at the same village centre location.

As both properties are adjoining, they can be booked together to sleep 8,with the dining room in Farran House seating 8.

Please note bookings are a Friday start.

You enter this charming double fronted cottage into the lounge with its stone fireplace and to the rear your fully and well equipped new kitchen.

Exposed beams and oak flooring with rugs add further appeal to this room.

Off the lounge is a charming dining room, able to seat eight, ideal for family gatherings.

The stairs lead to the three bedrooms, the main bedroom with a feature double bed and contemporary en suite shower room and toilet. The two remaining bedrooms each have twin single beds.

The house bathroom has a period feel with pedestal bath with shower over.

There is a small flagged sitting out area to the side of the cottage. Care and attention has been taken to provide a co-ordinated and stylish home from home
