Letter Box Cottage Grindleford Sleeps in bedrooms

This stone built cottage dates back some 300 years and enjoys outstanding views across the valley to Froggatt Edge, which is located in the heart of this popular village with some good amenities.

Good walks exist from the village along the banks of the River Derwent, up to Hathersage or down to Baslow, and into the parklands of Chatsworth House.

You enter the cottage into the hall which leads through into the kitchen area which is fully equipped with all the essential equipment you will require for your stay.

A door off the hall leads into the separate good sized lounge, with its welcoming open coal fire and good views across the valley and beyond.

At the end of the corridor is the separate dining room with a gas coal effect fire inset in a stone fireplace, the original oak beams adding to the rooms charm and character.

There is also a cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

The stairs lead to the three bedrooms, the main bedroom to the front has a king size double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and features an exposed stone wall and vaulted beamed ceiling, adding to this rooms character. The third bedroom has a single bed (with a slide out single bed, shorter in length).

The bathroom is a good sized with bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

Fabrics and furnishing have been carefully co-ordinated throughout to reflect the cottage's character, with oak beams, floors, doors, and exposed stone walls.

There is a long garden to the side of the house.

PLEASE NOTE, SHORT BREAKS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROPERTY.
