Avonlea Cottage Monyash Sleeps in bedrooms

This charming stone cottage was built in 1769 and has recently been sympathetically restored to provide quality coordinated accommodation throughout.

Monyash is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, and is an excellent base for walking and there is the Tissington cycle trail and the Lathkill Dale trail nearby.

You enter the accommodation into the beamed lounge / dining area with its welcoming log burning stove inset into a stone fireplace and there is also a double sofa bed for occasional use.

Two steps to the rear of the room, and the same down again, lead into the fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

A rear door goes out onto the patio and lawned garden area with views across the fields and surrounding countryside.

The stairs between the lounge and kitchen lead to the bedroom, up a single step from the landing to the front of the cottage, and it has a cast iron double bed.

A single step off the landing to the rear, leads to the spacious bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and hand basin.
