The Nurseries Curbar Sleeps in bedrooms

This Grade II Listed 17th century semi-detached stone cottage has been fully restored in recent years to provide character accommodation throughout.

Located on the very edge of this popular village, there are excellent walks towards Curbar Edge, and being in the heart of the Peak District National Park, it is a short drive to Chatsworth House, the popular market town of Bakewell and many other local attractions.

You enter the accommodation from the rear, through the gated and walled secured garden into the fully equipped kitchen that has all the essentials you will require for your stay.

A door to the rear leads through into the separate dining room that has a beamed ceiling, feature gritstone fireplace and stone mullioned windows.

An open archway takes you down three stone steps into the lounge with its sloping ceiling, log burning stove, inset in a stone fireplace, and double doors opening out onto the garden area, all adding to its charm.

At the opposite end of the cottage is a second snug sitting area that has a beamed ceiling and a sofa bed that is suitable for occasional use; there are stairs from the snug that lead to the first floor bedrooms.

The two bedrooms each have a double bed and enjoy views across the surrounding countryside, the main, and slightly more spacious bedroom, has its own separate dressing area.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

There is a separate utility area/store which is accessed externally and the garden and patio area enjoys the afternoon and early evening sun.
