Garden Cottage Ashford in the Water Sleeps in bedrooms

This spacious stone built bungalow is located in the owner’s grounds in the centre of this picturesque village in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

There are pleasant walks by the River Wye which runs by the village and on into the popular market town of Bakewell and a short drive will take you to the country estates of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

You enter the property into the hall which leads into the dining/kitchen that has all the essentials you will need for your stay.

Off the kitchen is the lounge that has a welcoming multi-fuelled stove, set into an exposed brick surround fireplace.

A door from the lounge leads to a further hall that has an external door to the patio, and off the hall is the large bathroom that has a roll top bath with ball and claw feet, separate shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin.

At the end of the hall is the large bedroom that has a king size bed.

Fabrics and furnishing have been tastefully co-odinated throughout.
