Weaver's Cottage Bonsall Sleeps 4 in 2 in bedrooms

This semi-detached cottage is situated in the heart of this pretty and quiet village, tucked away in a deep cleft of the hillside, with the lovely Via Gellia far below and Masson towering above on the south east edge of the Peak District National Park.

Masson is a hill well worth climbing for its glorious panorama and views in the Derwent valley.

You enter the good sized property, which has beams throughout, giving the cottage plenty of character, into a small hall, off which is a cloakroom.

The hall leads into the lounge that has a welcoming gas coal effect fire inset in a natural stone surround fireplace.

Off the lounge is the kitchen that has a large gas cooking range and all the essential equipment you will need for your stay.

Wi-Fi is operational in the property enabling full internet access throughout.

Two stone steps from the lounge lead to the dining room and there is a further door that takes you into the garden.

Stairs from the dining area lead to the galleried landing that has a study area, two bedrooms and the bathroom.

One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a double bed, both bedrooms have vaulted beamed ceilings.

The large bathroom includes an enclosed seat or stand steam sauna and multi jet shower unit, rolled top bath with claw and ball feet, toilet and hand basin.

The extensive rear hillside garden is on four levels and there is a large outdoor table and chairs on a spacious deck, perfect for alfresco dining.

The garden is very steep and care does need to be taken, there are a couple of sitting areas with good views of the village and beyond, and there is a small cottage garden at the front.

There is off road parking for one car.
