This detached house, as the name suggests, was originally the local post office, and is located five miles to the south east of the historic spa town of Buxton with all its history, theatre and opera.

It is in an excellent walking area and within easy access to Chrome Hill, the Manifold Valley and the upper reaches of the Dove Valley.

The cottage is entered through a small porch into the good sized lounge that has comfortable seating.

Off this room is a ground floor bedroom that has two single beds, which can be linked together on request, and its own en suite shower room with toilet and hand basin.

There is a separate dining room that has views of the garden and the fields beyond.

To the rear is the fully equipped kitchen that has all the essential equipment you will require for your stay, and, off which, is an occasional storage area with rear access, via steps, to the garden beyond.

The stairs lead to three further bedrooms, which are all of a good size, the first bedroom has three single beds one is 2'6" wide and the other two can be linked together on request, the other two bedrooms have double beds.

The general bathroom has a large bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin and there is also a separate cloakroom on this floor with toilet and hand basin.

There are lawned garden areas to the front and side of the house with large ornamental stones, please be careful, and a patio sitting out area with views of the adjoining field.

Please note that there are steep steps in the rear garden so care must be taken, especially with young children.
