There is the nearby market town of Bakewell, the country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall and there are several good walks along the many footpaths that cross the whole area.

Entry to the cottage, which dates back some 200 years, and was probably originally a lead miners cottage, which is full of character, is from the small gated patio into the open plan lounge, that has two comfortable settees, dining and kitchen area and is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

Care needs to be taken up and down the spiral staircase which leads to the bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom, down a very shallow step, has two single beds.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin and there is a patio sitting out area to the front of the cottage.
