The Lodge Low Leas, Riber Sleeps 8 in 4 in bedrooms

This detached stone cottage, which is on three floors, is located in a quiet peaceful valley on the eastern edge of the Peak District National Park.

It is surrounded by hills and fields with a woodland backdrop and has two acres of rough fields available for use by visitors throughout most of the year.

The property, which has recently been renovated to a very high standard and is contemporary in style dates back some 200 years and is entered at the gable end via a country lane and a stone walled garden.

The main door leads into the hall, where there is boot and coat storage, and leads through to the rear and the well and fully equipped kitchen which has all the essential equipment you will require for your stay.

It has a breakfast bar island with stools, a small dining area and double glass doors which lead out onto the patio that enjoys the sun throughout most of the day and views across fields to the woodland beyond.

Off the kitchen is a separate utility room.

A door to the rear of the kitchen leads through to the separate dining room that has a vaulted beamed ceiling, additional lounge seating and double glass doors that lead out onto the same patio area.

To the front of the cottage, off the kitchen, is the lounge that has a full beamed ceiling, welcoming log burning stove, inset in the original gritstone fireplace, and views across the rolling countryside.

The fabrics and furnishings have been carefully coordinated throughout and there are oak and tiled floors throughout the ground floor.

The stairs lead to the first floor and three bedrooms; the main bedroom to the rear, has a king size double bed and en suite shower room with toilet and hand basin, the second bedroom has two single beds that can be linked on request and en suite shower room with toilet and hand basin, and the third bedroom has two single beds.

Also on this floor is the general bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and hand basin.

A second flight of stairs lead to the eaves of the house where there are sloping ceilings that add to this room’s character. There is a king size double bed, that can be split into two 3 foot single beds on request, and en suite shower room, with toilet and hand basin.

Gardens surround the cottage on all sides being walled and secure.

There is a detached garage with a games room with table tennis and darts.
