This is an ideal base for visitors to enjoy this part of the High Peak, with Edale and the beginning of the Pennine Way being only a short distance away, at the same time Castleton having some excellent local facilities.

You enter the cottage into the welcoming open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area, with exposed beams and a feature gritstone wall, with an inset gas coal effect log burning stove giving the room plenty of character.

The stairs, which are narrow, lead to the good sized bedroom with a double bed, adjoining is the bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet, both rooms having views accross Castleton.
