You approach the two Dove Barns, Ostlers End and Dovedale, along a private track which takes you across the River Dove, through some fields into the private cobbled courtyard where you will reach the barn set back from the lawned gardens. The barns and their location enjoy some outstanding scenery across the Dove Valley, with views down to Hartington. This is an ideal base from which to explore many of the attractions of the Peak National Park. It is possible for 12 people to dine together in Ostlers End. |
| Accessed is from the cobbled parking area, along the path by the lawned gardens, into the welcoming and good sized lounge, with pitch pine beamed ceiling, maple wooden floor, occasional rugs and a log burning stove. A single step takes you up into the well equipped and beamed kitchen/dining area with terra cotta floor tiles and pine units, a rear door opens onto a garden area shared by all the barns. The stairs from the kitchen lead to the bedrooms, one bedroom has an imposing four poster double bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and its own en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. The third bedroom has two single beds, and with beams it gives the room further character. The main bathroom has a corner bath with hand basin, there is a further, and separate, cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
