One of two cottages located in the grounds of the owner’s property and working dairy farm, this is an ideal base from which to explore the south west edge of the Peak District National Park.

The cottage date back to 1720 and has been sympathetically restored.

Private fishing can be enjoyed on the River Hamps, which borders the grounds of the property, and there is trout and carp in the owners own pool which is regularly stocked and the fishing is free of charge.

The area abounds in widllife, with the RSPB bird sanctuary and Alton Towers are only a short drive away.

The two cottages link internally, allowing them to be booked as one unit (price on application to Peak Cottages)

The hall leads through into the L shaped dining lounge which has a beautiful picture window.

The stairs lead to the bedrooms, one has a double bed the other has two single beds.

The bathroom, on this floor, has a bath with shower over , hand basin and toilet and there is a lawned sitting out area to the rear of the barn.
