Bremens Barn Ilam Sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms

Situated in an elevated position in the grounds of the owners Grade II 16th Century farmhouse, this barn conversion is one of four in an ideal location from which to explore the beauty of the Peak National Park, nestling between Dovedale and the Manifold Valley.

Alton Towers and the country estates of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are only short drive away.

Converted to a very high standard, the barns retain a considerable wealth of individual charm, with exposed beams, wooden and flagged floors throughout, which all enhance the ambience of the barns.

In addition the fabrics have been carefully co-ordinated with antique furnishings to augment the appeal of these very individual barns. The barns are all adjoining and accessed off a central cobbled courtyard.

Use of spacious grounds, as advised by the owner, where you can see the pet sheep, ducks and chickens (eggs available in season). Each property has its own individual decking area to the rear.

Please note Bookings are Friday to Friday.

The middle of the three barns, which has equal charm and character to the others and is being apparent as you walk into the main entrance hall.

Off the hall to your right, is a beamed bedroom, which has a double bed with a canopy, to your left is the first bathroom with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

A corridor leads to two further bedrooms, one with three single beds, and one with adult sized bunk beds.

There is a second bathroom on the ground floor with bath, hand basin and toilet.

The stairs lead to the spacious landing, off which is the main bedroom, with a double bed and having the charm of a king post truss in the gable, and exposed beams.

To your right, from the landing, a door leads into the dining, sitting and kitchen area, which has a gas log burning stove, and is split by further trusses. It also has wooden floors and is set in the eaves, giving this room tremendous character.

This cottage is one of four cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 29 people, the others are: PK473 Reubens Roost (Sleeps 6), PK475 Hope’s Hideaway (Sleeps 8), PK707 Purdy's Place (Sleeps 5)
