Courtyard Creamery Nr Hartington Sleeps 2 in 1 bedrooms

Located in rural countryside in the grounds of the owners 135 acres property, this is truly an outstanding location in which to relax and enjoy some spectacular views in barn conversions which have been sympathetically and very individually restored.

The farm and buildings are Grade 11 listed and date back to the 14th century and were once a medieval monastic sheep farm belonging to Garendon Abbey, which is in secluded surroundings .

Located on the edge of Biggin Dale, which leads into Wolfscote Dale, Dovedale and beyond, this is an ideal base for both walking and cycling from the doorstep in this very picturesque area of the Peak National Park.

Centrally located, the Tissington and Manifold Trails are both nearby, along with the country houses of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Kedleston Hall, Sudbury and Tissington Hall.

The cottages are accessed from a long sweeping drive.

All on one level, this accommodation has been renovated to a very high standard with fabrics and furnishings having been carefully co-ordinated throughout, enhancing the original exposed beams and slate floors.

You enter the accommodation into the very spacious and welcoming open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area – the kitchen being well equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

The lounge has a slate floor with occasional rugs and its own electric log burning stove.

To the rear is the main bedroom that has a king size double bed and its own en suite bathroom, with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet, and enjoys views to the courtyard and the open countryside.

The private south facing patio is accessed from the lounge.

The dining table in Courtyard Creamery seats six people in order for all the cottages guests to eat together.

This cottage is one of three cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 6 people, the others are: PK493 Cheese Press Cottage (Sleeps 2), PK494 The Old Farrowings (Sleeps 2)
