There are some excellent walks from the doorstep with the High Peak Trail being nearby, and a short walk will take you into the market town of Wirksworth.

The owners are happy to show visitors around the working farm by prior arrangement.

The charm is further enhanced with tiled floor and the magnificent range of hand made wooden kitchen units, and it has all the equipment you will require for your stay.

Off this room is the very good sized lounge, with further beams, feature gritstone fireplace, with inset gas coal effect stove, and patio doors that lead onto the shared lawned areas which takes in the splendid views down towards Carsington Water.

The stairs lead to the landing off which is the bedroom, a very good size, with a king size bed, stained floors and occasional rugs adding to the charm.

The main bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, hand basin and toilet.
