Monyash is an ideal base from which to explore the many splendours the area has to offer, being centrally located in the heart of the White Peak in the Peak National Park.

The popular market town of Bakewell is only a short drive away along with the splendours of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

Dovedale and the Tissington and Manifold Trails offer some excellent walking and cycling.

The accommodation is one of two properties situated in the grounds of the owners property, and from the rear you can enjoy views of the field patterns which are characteristic of the area.

It is possible for up to 9 people to dine together in Sheldon Cottage if both cottages are booked together.

From the entrance lobby there is a good sized lounge with Derbyshire fireplace and welcoming log burning stove.

The dining kitchen has a full range of units, electric cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and useful pantry.

There is a rear entrance lobby with cloaks, WC, wash basin, washing machine and dryer.

The first floor provides two bedrooms, the main and very spacious bedroom, has a king size double and single bed.

The second bedroom has two single beds and a walk-in-wardrobe.

The bathroom has a bath, with shower over, wash basin and WC.

The cottage has its own private gravelled patio garden area, with BBQ, table and chairs.

The owner’s garden can be shared with the other accommodation, much enjoyed by children.
