| You enter the house into the kitchen, which is well fitted with tiled floor and all the essential equipment, off which is a further pantry storeroom. The kitchen leads through to the large lounge/dining room with stone flagged floor, original shutters, beamed ceiling and imposing gritstone fireplace. It retains many original features such as a gun box, salt store and a built in farmers desk. Off the lounge is a small quiet study / reading room, and on the ground floor is a small cloakroom with toilet and hand basin. The stairs go to the two bedrooms, one bedroom has two single beds which can be made up as a double bed on request. The main bedroom has a splendid and imposing four poster bed and some occasional seating. The bathroom consists of bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. Spacious grounds and countryside can be enjoyed as advised by the owners on your arrival. It is possible for 12 people to dine in The Grange when both The Old Farmhouse and The Grange are booked together. When both properties are booked together a returnable bond of £100 will be taken for all bookings.
