Honeysuckle Cottage Longnor Sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms

Enjoying an idyllic rural location and panoramic views of the glorious countryside, Rose Cottage, Honeysuckle Cottage and Summerhill (all at the same location) are early 18th century barns that have been converted to a very high standard providing warm and comfortable accommodation.

Appointed to a high standard, soft furnishings and fabrics have been carefully co-ordinated throughout each cottage to provide a welcoming home.

The cottages are in a stone walled courtyard surrounded by open fields, a peaceful rural location, with excellent views all round and good access to a good range of year long attractions.

Good walks originate from the doorstep, this being an ideal base to explore upper Dovedale and the Manifold Valley and the theme park at Alton Towers, not forgetting the delights of Chatsworth House.

Longnor is a short drive away, along with the historic spa town of Buxton, the opera house and it’s many local attractions.

It is possible for 8 people to dine together in both Rose Cottage and Honeysuckle Cottage.

There is also an acre of meadow shared between the cottages and the hens.

Off the shared entrance hall, and to your right you enter the cottage, and off the internal hall a door leads into the good sized lounge/dining room with its welcoming log effect fire and views of the courtyard.

Also off the hall is the kitchen, which has all the essential equipment you will need for your stay.

Stairs from the hall lead to the first floor with the main bedroom having a king size gothic style double bed, and the second bedroom having an antique style single bed and views of the area.

There is a fold up bed available for an extra person to make the accommodation for four people.

The bathroom, on this floor has a bath, with shower over, toilet and hand basin.

A further door from the kitchen leads to the rear of the property onto a patio with garden furniture, taking in the early morning and evening sun, along with the splendid views across the surrounding countryside.

The central lobby holds a library of videos, books and games which are available for use by all visitors.

There are sitting out areas at the front of the cottage that enjoys the sun for most of the day and there is a one acre meadow to the side of the property.

The three adjoining properties, which are available for short weekend breaks throughout the whole year, at the same location are: PK627 Rose Cottage (Sleeps 4), PK628 Honeysuckle Cottage (Sleeps 3), PK629 Summerhill (Sleeps 6)
