Bats Belfry Hurdlow Grange Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms

Hurdlow Grange is over 300 years old and is located on the historic site of Hurdlow Village known to pre-date 1244.

The main farmhouse being the focal point of the locality, the barns were originally working buildings now converted into contempory high quality and spacious holiday accommodation.

Delightfully located at the start of the Tissington Trail within an easy drive of Bakewell and Buxton. It offer easy access to the many attractions the area has to offer in both the Dark and White Peak.

The accommodation oozes character, with original features preserved where possible and fabric and furnishings carefully coordinated throughout.

All located around a central courtyard, 5 acres of gardens and grounds surround the property with some excellent walking in nearby Dovedale and the Manifold Valleys.

The properties can be let individually, as a whole or in any combination for different sized groups.

They are a perfect destination for large parties as Cruck’d Barn and Bats Belfry have very spacious open plan dining/living areas that everyone can dine and socialise in.

This is ideal accommodation for groups to meet comfortably and get together for those special occasions and it is possible for 30+ people to dine together.

Similar in many respects to Cruck’d Barn. Again the accommodation has been turned upside down to take advantage of the properties character and taking in views of the surrounding countryside which can be appreciated from the first floor living area.

You enter the barn, and off the hall to your left, is one bedroom with two single beds that can be joined on request, the second bedroom has a double bed. The main bedroom, at the end of the hall, has two single beds, which also can be joined, and its own en suite bathroom, with bath/shower, hand basin and toilet.

The main bathroom, also on this floor, has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

The stairs lead to the very imposing and spacious open plan first floor accommodation, with two original, imposing king post trusses and solid oak flooring, giving the whole room great atmosphere and character.

The kitchen area, with granite worktops, is fully equipped and links well with the dining and luxorious lounge area of this room.

There is a sitting out area to the front of the barn and general use of the grounds surrounding the properties location..
