The Grange Hurdlow Grange Sleeps 14 in 7 bedrooms

Hurdlow Grange is over 300 years old and is located on the historic site of Hurdlow Village known to pre-date 1244.

The main farmhouse being the focal point of the locality, the barns were originally working buildings now converted into contempory high quality and spacious holiday accommodation.

Delightfully located at the start of the Tissington Trail within an easy drive of Bakewell and Buxton. It offers easy access to the many attractions the area has to offer in both the Dark and White Peak.

The accommodation oozes character, with original features preserved where possible and fabric and furnishings carefully coordinated throughout.

All located around a central courtyard, 5 acres of gardens and grounds surround the property with some excellent walking in nearby Dovedale and the Manifold Valleys.

The properties can be let individually, as a whole or in any combination for different sized groups.

They are a perfect destination for large parties as Cruck’d Barn and Bats Belfry have very spacious open plan dining/living areas that everyone can dine and socialise in.

This is ideal accommodation for groups to meet comfortably and get together for those special occasions and it is possible for 30+ people to dine together.

This imposing detached farmhouse is traditional in every way dating back some 200 years with plenty of character, large rooms, high ceilings, flagged floors and a stone cellar and basement.

You enter the house, and off the hall to your right is the separate lounge, ahead to the left, is the formal dining room. To the rear is the separate and very well equipped kitchen with everything you will require for your stay – a door leads out onto the shared central courtyard.

There is a further reception room off the kitchen down a couple of steps which can be used as an occasional sitting/breakfast/dining area, and more stone steps (be careful as you go up and down), to the basement.

The main stairs lead to the bedrooms on the first and second floors of the house, all of a good size, three with double beds, four with twin beds (two of which can be linked on request)all having their own en suite bath/shower room (with either bath or shower cubicle) hand basin and toilet. The second floor bedrooms being in the eaves of the house with sloping ceilings adding character to these rooms. Four bedrooms are on the first floor, three on the second.

There are garden areas around the house and the shared use of grounds around all of the properties..
