Beech Barn Longnor Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms

LAPWING BARNS have recently been converted to a very high standard, being located on the South Western edge of the Peak District National Park, an ideal base from which to explore this area of the Park.

Excellent walking exists in all directions from the doorstep, and there are some outstanding far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside.

There are nearby caves and caverns to explore and The Roaches, with Hen Cloud and Ramshaw Rocks, form a gritstone escarpment, which marks the south-western edge of the Peak.

The spa town of Buxton is close, by with its Opera House and theatre, and also the popular market town of Bakewell, in the heart of the Peak District, and Alton Towers is only a half hour drive away.

It is possible for up to 8 people to dine together in either property, should both be booked together.

Ash Barn and Beech Barn are at the same location, and are fitted out in a similar contemporary style.

Beech Barn is similar in style to Ash Barn with fabrics and furnishing having been carefully co-ordinated throughout in a very relaxing and contemporary style.

You enter the newly converted barn into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area with solid oak flooring, a big leather sofa, farmhouse dining table and fully equipped kitchen, giving you everything you will require for your stay.

The central wooden staircase leads to the two bedrooms one bedroom with twin beds, that can be linked together on request, to form a double bed, and there is a sloping ceiling that adds to its charm, the second bedroom has two single beds.

There is a small but stylish shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet on this floor and an additional cloakroom on the ground floor.

The garden area, with outdoor tables and BBQ, is to the front of the property with amazing views of the surrounding countryside, and further grounds (5acres) can be used as advised by the owner.

This cottage is one of two cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 8 people, the other is: PK730 Ash Barn (Sleeps 4)
