Eyam Top Barns are located at the end of quiet lane close to the Riley Graves, where the Hancock family are buried, victims of the 1665 plague. The house and cottages are set in 20 acres of quiet rural grounds, with a mixture of pasture and woodland. A short walk will take you into the village of Eyam with good village amenities. There are some stunning views of Froggatt, Curbar and Baslow Edges and the surrounding countryside from the property with distant views of Chatsworth House. The hillside location gives easy access to local footpaths that lead to riverside walks along the Derwent valley, up to the Edges, or into nearby Middleton Dale and beyond. Fabrics, furnishings and finishes have been carefully coordinated for each cottage. Clara, Clarice and Clementine Cottages are at the same location and will be available early in 2008. |
