The Paddock Castleton Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms

This detached stone built house was built only twelve years ago and brings modern amenities to a limestone property that looks centuries old.

It nestles in a quiet corner of this popular village, yet at the same time is only a few minutes from the village centre with its wide range of amenities and facilities, and excellent walking can be enjoyed from the doorstep.

The property is bounded by two streams, to the front and rear, and a family of ducks pay occasional visits, (young children must be supervised).

You enter the house into the good sized hall off which are the receptions rooms. To the left is the lounge with its welcoming gas coal effect fire, and to the rear of this room, sliding glass doors take you into the conservatory. There is a door from the conservatory leading to the pleasant mature garden with views of Peveril Castle and the surrounding countryside.

There is a separate dining room with double doors also leading into the conservatory. The kitchen, with occasional breakfast area, is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

A door leads off the kitchen to the good sized separate utility room with external door access. A second snug sitting room provides a TV/games room or quiet working area, and there is a ground floor cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

The stairs lead to the four bedrooms, all of a good size, the spacious master bedroom has a double bed, windows to two elevations and an en suite shower room, with shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin. The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds, and the fourth bedroom has a king size double bed and an adjacent shower room with hand basin and toilet.

The main bathroom is also a good size and has a Victorian roll top style bath, with toilet, bidet and hand basin. A door off the landing gives external access down a flight of stone steps to the rear private garden.

Fabrics and furnishing have been carefully selected throughout the house to complement the wooden floors.

Lawned and planted gardens surround the house.
