Byre Cottage Riber, Nr Matlock Sleeps 2 in 1 bedrooms

This recently converted character detached stone built barn is located in the peaceful surroundings of Riber, close to the Castle, which is set prominently 850ft above sea level.

It is an ideal base from which to visit the many attractions of the Peak National Park and is situated in the grounds of the owner’s property where there is excellent walking from the doorstep, and where wildlife abounds, both in the grounds and the surrounding locality.

You enter the accommodation, which is a good size throughout, into the very spacious open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.

There is comfortable seating in the lounge, and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

A door from the kitchen leads out onto the garden patio area.

The stairs lead to the first floor accommodation where the sloping ceilings and exposed character oak beamed trusses show off the true character of the accommodation. The gallery landing has a desk, which is ideal as a quiet study/reading area.

Off the landing is the good sized bedroom, with a king size double bed that can be split in two singles on request.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Wildlife gardens and pond exist within the grounds, all of which are available for use by visitors.

The Owner’s will be pleased to share their knowledge of the area and the local wildlife with visitors.
