A short drive away is Baslow, which has some good facilities such as shops, eating places and public houses and is at the beginning of an enjoyable walk into the parklands of the Chatsworth House estate.

A short drive leads to the gated driveway and the stone built cottage which stands in its own grounds.

Off this room is a small utility room with separate toilet and hand basin.

Double glazed doors from the kitchen area lead to the good sized beamed lounge with its welcoming wood open fire and a piano.

There is a door to the rear that leads to a second sitting/conservatory area, which enjoys the sun throughout most of the day and views of the lawned garden.

Doors from the conservatory lead out to the garden terrace and the outside eating area.

Off the lounge, to the rear, is a ground floor bedroom that has two single beds, a decorative stove, and there is an external door that leads into the grounds.

The stairs, from the lounge, lead to the three remaining bedrooms, to the right at the top of the stairs is one bedroom that has two single beds, the second to the rear, has a double bed and its own en suite bath room, with bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin.

The third large bedroom is to the front and has a double bed, a television and an occasional sofa chair/folding bed suitable for occasional use.
