Mistletoe Barn Eyam Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms

EYAM BARNS.

The two barns and single cottage within the grounds of Eyam Dale House are all detached and arranged around a beautiful stone paved and gravel courtyard.

Forget-Me-Not Barn is a traditional long barn and forms one side of the courtyard opposite Mistletoe Barn and Snowdrop Cottage.

They provide high quality accommodation in the heart of this delightful historic Peak District village, famous for the plague of 1665.

The village enjoys some good local amenities all within an easy walk from Eyam Dale House, while a short drive will take you to the local market town of Bakewell, the Chatsworth Estate and its parklands, and various other Peak villages while Sheffield city centre is only 25 minutes drive away.

Excellent walking exists from the doorstep. If booked together, depending upon the combination, it is possible for 10, 12 or 16 people to holiday close to each other but in complete privacy and it is possible for up to 16 people to dine in either Mistletoe Barn or Forget-Me-Not Barn.

The barn is accessed from the courtyard and entered into the large stone paved and fully equipped kitchen.

A door leads into a small hall where there is a useful coat and boot storage cupboard and a cloakroom.

Straight on and down two steps leads to the very spacious and open plan living room and dining area with stone fireplace and exposed beams adding to its charm.

The property is gas centrally heated with radiators upstairs and under floor heating downstairs, which is very pleasant on the feet.

The rear door leads out, and up three steps, to the good sized enclosed and private stone walled patio and sitting out area.

From the kitchen stairs lead up to the three bedrooms, the master bedroom to the rear, has a double bed and its own en suite shower room with bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin.

The second bedroom, to the side, has a double bed that can be made into two singles on request; it also has an en-suite shower room with shower, toilet and hand basin.

The third bedroom, to the front, also has a double bed that can be made into single beds on request and has an en-suite shower room with shower, toilet and hand basin.

The ceilings are sloping and partly vaulted adding to the charm and character of the bedrooms.

This cottage is one of three cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 16 people, the others are: PK834 Snowdrop Cottage (Sleeps 4), PK835 Forget-me-not Barn (Sleeps 6)
