Situated in rural rolling countryside on the edge of Matlock but with a local golf club and its fairways as your neighbours this is one of two cottages at this location. On the eastern edge of the National Park many attractions are on your doorstep or just a short drive away ideal when you want to entertain a wide cross-section of the family or just simply sit and enjoy the wildlife but don’t forget your binoculars!
The property is accessed from a separate drive and is on three levels you enter the barn on the middle floor into the main reception rooms. The door leads into the spacious lounge and has a welcoming log burning stove. French doors from the lounge lead to the separate dining area with wooden floors and is open to the well fitted and equipped kitchen that has all the essentials you will need for your stay. The stairs go down to a second tiled entrance hall and the two main bedrooms the first bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room with shower hand basin and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds and an access by an adjoining door to the main bathroom on this floor which has a bath with shower over hand basin and toilet. A further flight of stairs from the lounge lead to the third bedroom in the eaves which has two further single beds and en-suite hand basin and toilet. There is a small private patio sitting out area by the main entrance.
This cottage is one of two cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 12 people, it is possible for 12 people to dine together in either of the barns - the other is The Byre - Matlock.
