You enter the cottage into the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen that has all the essential equipment you will need for your stay beamed ceilings and oak floors are used throughout the accommodation adding to the character of the property. Off the lounge an extra wide door leads to a ground floor bedroom that has a double bed an en suite shower room with toilet hand basin and walk in shower with hand rails this bathroom is also accessed from the lounge/dining area. There is a second ground floor bedroom (up 4 steps) providing a double bed and an en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin. Stone stairs from the lounge lead up to a gallery and second sitting area with a vaulted beamed ceiling which overlooks the dining and kitchen area. Five further steps take you up to the other two bedrooms both with vaulted beamed ceilings. The main bedroom has a double bed with en suite shower room with hand basin toilet and walk in shower. The fourth bedroom has twins and also has an en suite bathroom with hand basin toilet and bath with shower over. There is a seating area for guest close to the property.

The Edge accommodation was absolutely perfect for our group of 7 friends. After a day of walking in the area we wanted to stay in and relax and it suited us down to the ground. Plenty of room to sit and relax in the lounge, plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen and table, everything you could possibly need. It was just a shame we werent staying longerRead more! Fabulous. So roomy. Granted it was for 8 and there were only 4 of us! Quite a selection of books. Weather was so nice that we had no time to read any of them.

This really is a little gem of a cottage, better than it's description and photographs suggest. The living space is very comfortable and also really pleasant and airy. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely long table. All the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms clean and well appointed. We had a lovely stay in the heart of the peaks.
