This cottage is definitely one of the best. Plenty of pots for a large family group, and so well equipped for a keen cook. We really appreciated the two living spaces and kitchen. Bamford is well situated for most places in the Peak District - and the station with regular trains to Sheffield and Manchester is a bonus.

The cottage is a great size and the cloakroom/utility is invaluable. Its a very short walk to the pub and Bamford is perfectly situated for the amenities in Hathersage and Hope. There is also a garage/well stocked shop at the bottom of the hill. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

A well-equipped and comfortable cottage. It was great having a bathroom for each room, a real bonus with six people in the house. Lovely walks straight from the cottage. Parking is tight but we usually found a spot close to the cottage.
