The cottage was lovely and just as described/pictured. The setting was wonderful with the river at the bottom of the garden, all nice and quite and secluded but just a short walk from the centre of the village, with plenty of walks on the doorstep. The owners were very friendly and left us some fresh eggs from the hens in the garden and some tasty Read morewine as a gift - great at this time of year with the log fire burning in the evening. Very highly recommended and we hope to revisit! Hide

Excellent location and the village lovely. The cottage has character but some aspects could be refreshed such as the family bathroom. The chickens and rooster were cute but because they are situated in the garden and used to being fed by guests, they jump up on the table, chairs and people when trying to eat or drink outside.
