This chapel conversion offers a unique escape for anyone looking for a taste of country life. The property is perfect for families and small groups.

This property sits in a charming rural position, acting as an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. Nearby, Dovedale is popular with walkers wanting to enjoy the stunning views or for those looking to exercise their legs a little more, the cycling trails of Tissington and Manifold are right on the doorstep. Located just a few miles from the property, Hartington has all the necessary local amenities including a pub, restaurants and shops.

Stepping inside the property leads you straight through to the stylish kitchen which is well-equipped and offers everything you need for a home away from home stay, an electric oven and electric induction hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a handy utility room with a washing machine and a beautiful stable door letting the light flood in. Just off the utility room is a shower room with shower and WC. The beautiful open-plan lounge/diner is the heart of the house, with huge character windows and handcrafted wood features throughout. The lounge area has a TV/DVD and sumptuous sofas to relax on in front of the beautiful wood burner and in the dining area there is a dining table which will seat the whole family for dinner. The stunning huge church door can be seen throughout this room and is a real feature within the property, even the walk upstairs is beautiful with the wooden staircase leading to the landing. On this floor there is a double bedroom with a striking circle feature window and built-in wardrobes providing ample hanging space and handy en-suite. The next bedroom is a single room with feature church windows. The third bedroom has a spacious king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). The bathroom has a walk in shower, bath and WC.

Outside is a small courtyard space with seating to relax and take in the village life after a day’s exploring.  There is also use of a small paddock, great for kids to play in.  There is ample off-road parking.

A beautifully converted chapel which is very spacious and comfortable. Well situated for walks and visiting local towns. Very friendly and helpful hosts. I'm sure we'll be back for a third stay!

A jaw dropping interior space, with beautifully finished oak floors and carefully preserved chapel features. In the perfect spot for dale walking, on the site of a beautiful working farm managed by friendly, accommodating family. Wont forget the trip and hope to return again soon!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Close to some amazing places. Loved going to the farm and seeing it in action. Would highly recommend this holiday cottage/ Chapel for families and couples wanting a break in the countryside.

What a fabulous little find. The chapel is very tastfully converted, very modern. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The under floor heating was amazing. We were so warm. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. We will definitely be back.

Really beautiful chapel conversion- high quality finishes, warm and comfortable stay. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of space - just perfect for 4 friends who were meeting up from all corners of the UK! Very friendly owner who let us see the new born calves, and watch milking! The Chapel at Fold Farm is even lovelier than the photos. It is well equipped, spacious, warm, really clean and the beds are super comfy. The owners are extremely helpful. The area is charming and good for local walks or access by car to other areas of the Peaks. We truly loved our stay here. Very highly recommended

Very comfortable place, sensitively-done and well-equipped chapel conversion. Great location, with excellent walks from the door, and good local stores and farm shops close by in Hartington. Easy access to local towns (Buxton, Bakewell, Leek), as well as spectacular countryside. Will definitely plan to return!

The chapel was absolutely wonderful and so beautifully and respectfully renovated. It was equipoed with everything you would need, was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mr and Mrs Birch were so friendly and welcoming and the fact we could spend time on the farm was a real bonus. I would highly recommend The Chapel .

The chapel at Fold Farm is an outstanding home for anyone who would like to spend their holidays in Peak District. It's a very comfortable, spacious, warm and spotless property with lots of light that entered through it's lancet windows. This is a fabulous conversion of a chapel. The craftsmanship in the conversion is outstanding and it has made a very light and bright holiday cottage. The chapel is amazing. I was hugely impressed with how its been done up to such a high standard. It is beautiful, immaculately clean and so comfortable. Unfortunately the weather stopped us being able to go out and about but the area is beautiful . I ate at the Devonshire Arms and the Biggin Hall Country House Hotel for a special birthday meal . We were a group of 4 adults. We really enjoyed our stay, spacious, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Kitchen had everything you need, we cooked a Christmas lunch during our stay. Local pub closed but we enjoyed a nice meal at a pub in Hartington. Location quite remote for winter months.

Spacious and character property within easy walk of pub the Staffordshire Knott. Food excellent in quality and generous portions, although had only bottled beers when we visited. The location is brilliant if you like walking but you can easily access other amenities as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Chapel is absolutely tickety-boo on all fronts and we couldn't have been happier. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with all mod-cons and creature comforts. The owners, whom we understand live nearby, were discreet and the location is absolutely perfect for a number of the Peak District's 'honeypots' to keep any family happy.
