This delightful property features a lounge with a welcoming wood burner, providing a perfect space for relaxation at the end of a great day. A sociable space, the stylish kitchen/diner has a wide range of equipment and is the perfect place to share your favourite family meals. The ground floor also features a cosy snug which makes a great space for playing games or reading a book in peace. Heading upstairs, there’s a stylish bathroom alongside three light and relaxing bedrooms with exposed beams: a twin and two king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Stepping outside, the lovely patio garden is a fabulous spot to enjoy some al fresco dining as you take in the superb country views surrounding this barn conversion.

Situated close to the Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve and the route of the Monsal Trail, the barn makes a fantastic base for exploring the Peak District National Park. The charming market town of Bakewell is to the east (4.5 miles), with the bustling spa town of Buxton to the west (11 miles). Numerous other local attractions include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Peveril Castle, Curbar Edge, Chee Dale (all within 10 miles) and Poole’s Cavern and Buxton Country Park (12 miles).

We were a family of four adults, two children under two, and one spaniel. The barn was spacious, clean, comfortable, and practical. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Parking is fine if you take your time and check it out before driving down to the barn.

Fantastic cottage in a fantastic location. Spent 2 nights there and walked a few of the local routes which were brilliant. Took everything we needed due to isolation and it worked brilliantly well. Wye barn was a fantastic cottage to view this beautiful part of the Preak District. The cottage was large and spacious and had everything we needed. Possibly only cottage we would come back too. Awe had a brilliant stay.

Christmas 2022, loved it! Clean, spacious and well equipped. We had a Mercedes GLB and an Audi Q5, hope this helps people gauging if their vehicles will fit. We seated 8 adults comfortably around the table. Sadly Decorated for Christmas is only an artificial tree with one string of lights. We brought our own decorations. The photos dont do this spacious, comfortable cottage justice. Brilliantly located too, only a few minutes walk from the Monsal Trail and a short drive from good pubs. Would highly recommend!

We stayed at the barn for a week (5 of us) and enjoyed every minute. The barn is much bigger than it looks on the photos, on arrival night lights had been left on for us and a tray with biscuits, drinks, and milk in the fridge which was lovely. Brilliant cottage, location amazing. Only downside was need to keep windows almost shut in order to keep the bats out whilst trying to keep the bedrooms cool at night! We had a great time though!

This is an excellent cottage with fittings of very high quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The location was ideal with access to many beautiful walks. The bridge to the Monsal Trail is closed and may be for a while but the walk to the next bridge in either direction is just as pretty. Perfect location. Cottage is well equipped and immaculate. Lots of beautiful walks and places to visit nearby. We had children aged 6 and 8 and would definitely recommend Luds Church and Dovesdale. Man Tor and Castletown also definitely worth a visit. Would definitely recommend the cottage.
