Idyllic location. Especially for Doggie walkers, it's a heavenly place. Gorgeous local atmospheric pub with good food. We loved our stay in the loft. Small, cosy and ideal when you are out all day. Sofa ( bed?) Was a little uncomfortable for aching legs.

We had an excellent stay at Rakesdale Loft. Nick and Maxine we great hosts, welcoming us personally but also giving us space to come and go as we pleased. The enclosed garden (more like a field!) was great to let our dog roam around in freely and safely. The location is beautiful and quiet, but also very near to some great cafes (ramblers especially) and lots of stunning walks. Hide
