The kitchen and utility area are fully equipped, perfect for preparing a favourite meal for two, which you can enjoy around the nearby dining table. The ground floor also has a useful shower room. Stairs lead directly into the light and airy first-floor super-king-size bedroom which features plenty of storage space and a high ceiling with original exposed beams. Stepping outside, the small private courtyard features outdoor furniture and a hot tub, providing a relaxing space for al fresco drinks in the evening.
The village of Middleton and the nearby market town of Wirksworth (2 miles) offer a wonderful variety of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, with attractions including Mount Cook Adventure Centre, the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and the National Stone Centre. Walkers can follow the High Peak Trail, or visit popular destinations including Carsington Water (5 miles), Black Rocks (1.5 miles), Harborough Rocks (3.5 miles) and the bustling town of Matlock (5 miles). Other local attractions include Gulliver’s Kingdom, Heights of Abraham, Cromford Mills and Crich Tramway Village (all within 6.5 miles).
