Settle in for a comfortable stay at this delightful cottage in the bustling Derbyshire town of Buxton. Sleeping four guests, the charming stone property has two bedrooms and is in a great location for strolling into town and reaching shops and restaurants, as well as planning forays out into the beautiful Peak District National Park on foot or by bicycle. Discover the history of the famous thermal spa town; enjoy its impressive architecture and make the most of its reputation for its arts and culture.

Make your way into this light cottage via the hall, where you can leave all your outerwear. Follow on through into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is very much the hub of the characterful property. Settle down in here to enjoy your favourite tunes through the CD player or Bluetooth speaker or to watch a film on the TV/DVD. Find everything you need to make homecooked meals on the days you don’t feel like eating out and a washing/dryer in a utility space beneath the stairs. A bathroom, with underfloor heating, is also on the ground floor. Make your way up to the level above to find a double bedroom and a twin. This property comes with parking for one car and cycle storage with electric bike charging.

Join one of many fascinating tours around the town of Buxton to learn more about its history. Visit the family attractions of Poole’s Cavern, a great limestone cave, and the Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience, which tells the story of the spa town. Pick up the Peak District Boundary Walk from the marketplace in the town. This meanders for 190 miles through stunning landscapes.
